GCC to present ‘Regeneration’ as 41st annual fashion show | Entertainment

BATAVIA – Genesee Community College Fashion Program students will emphasize new beginnings with the theme of its 41st annual fashion show.

“Regeneration” will emphasize environmental issues and sustainability when it takes to the runway on April 30. The show is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. in the 24,000-square-foot indoor field house of the Richard C. Call Arena on the west side of GCC’s Batavia Campus, 1 College Rd.

The show will return to a live format after being presented in an online format for the past two year’s due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The venue can accommodate 2,000 guests.

The students are planning a single dynamic, fast-moving production with a post-show party featuring entertainment and a vendor fair.

Tickets are available online at gccfashionshow.com. General admission tickets are free and include admission to the Fashion Show, vendor fair, entertainment and the post-show reception. Special VIP tickets are available for $25 and provide preferential seating and a special GCC Fashion Show SWAG bag.

The show’s vendor fair gives local businesses a chance to showcase products and services. There are still a few tables available for additional vendors. Interested businesses should email [email protected].
