An alumna of a premier business school in Delhi, Little Tags founder Chandni Agarwal has always wanted to start her own business. But it was her passion for kids’ fashion and the arrival of her first child that finally convinced her to take the entrepreneurial plunge.

Determined to raise her child in a modern lifestyle with comfort and convenience, Agarwal found it wasn’t easy to find fine clothes for toddlers. Recognising this gap in the kids’ fashion segment, she decided to create a marketplace that would cater to the need and built Little Tags — a next-gen ecommerce platform for toddlers — and Little Tags Luxury – a one-stop-shop for luxury kids’ wear, from clothing to footwear to other accessories.

Building A Niche
Launched in 2017, Little Tags is a unique marketplace for kids’ clothing, bringing branded, high-quality children’s brands together on one platform. With over 260 designer brands under its umbrella, Little Tags brings the best and latest trends of reputed designer labels in India like Rohit Bal, Samant Chauhan, Raghavendra Rathore, Payal Singhal, Nitya Bajaj, Pallavi Mohan, Shivan & Narresh, Anand Bhushan, Siddharth Tytler, Krishna Mehta, Monisha Jaising, Nishka Lulla and Pooja Wang.

The marketplace was awarded the title of ‘ India’s Most Admirable Brand 2020’ by Forbes India and its collection was shown at the ‘Ramp of Delhi Times Fashion Week 2021 & 2022’. Following the success of Little Tags, Agarwal expanded and added a secondary marketplace, Little Tags Luxury, to bring a premium line of international kids’ wear to India. Established in 2020, Little Tags Luxury includes a stellar line-up of international brands like Self Portrait, Moschino, Balmain, Diesel, Elie Saab, Aigner, Bugatti, Dsquared2, Emilio Pucci, Marc Jacobs, Philipp Plein, Stella McCartney Kids and many others.

Dual Roles
In discussing her dual roles of entrepreneurship and motherhood, she said, “Entrepreneurship is the constant learning of unimaginable possibilities and impossibilities and that horizon of learning is amplified when you’re both a mother and an entrepreneur. It’s a journey of constant invention.”
