Kim Kardashian Would Absolutely “Wear a Diaper” in the Name of Fashion

Given all of the dramatic movement-constricting and body-exposing fashions Kim Kardashian has worn over the years, it should come as no surprise there are no lengths the reality star won’t go to in order to pull off a particularly difficult high fashion look.

The Skims founder appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show again on Wednesday, telling DeGeneres that she never says never when it comes to fashion and will “literally wear” anything. “I don’t care how uncomfortable, I don’t care how long, if I have to wear a diaper and not go to the bathroom—I don’t care what I have to do,” she said. Kardashian also made that point clear with the outfit she chose for her talk show appearance, wearing a black, mock turtleneck latex midi dress with Yeezy stiletto ankle boots.

Kardashian also revealed that should one of her future Balenciaga duct tape catsuits necessitate a diaper, she already has a box of them at home because of a previous misunderstanding about the logistics of the bar exam. “I actually bought adult diapers when I took the bar exam because I didn’t know how it worked so I thought I had to sit there for eight hours straight,” the reality star said. Back in March 2021 on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she also gave fans a look at her preparation process for the baby bar exam and admitted to buying the diapers because she had to take the test at home due to the pandemic and one of the rules was that she couldn’t leave her seat or else she would fail the exam.

This is hardly the first time Kardashian has put herself in extreme discomfort in the name of fashion. At the 2021 Met Gala she wore a mask that completely covered her face, partially obscuring her vision. And in 2019 at the same event, she wore a very tight corset as part of her Thierry Mugler dress that she said left “indentations” on her back and stomach and kept her from sitting down all night. “I have never felt pain like that in my life,” she told the WSJ. Magazine.
